In a move designed to broaden its appeal to small businesses, SAP has launched the Business One Starter Pack.
Based on the successful SAP Business One application, which is used by over 1000 customers in ANZ, the new Business One Starter Pack is designed to meet the needs of the smallest of companies (starting from one user upwards), implemented at a fixed price and sold only through channel partners.
Depending on the scope of the project, the Starter Pack will allow small companies to get up and running in just three to 10 days.
Vince Cordi, channel sales manager, SAP Business One, said that while Business One has proven to be very popular amongst SMBs, there was still a relatively high entry point which put it out of the reach of some customers. With this solution, SAP is taking on the likes of MYOB.
“All businesses eventually outgrow accounting software from companies like MYOB, and even small businesses can gain big efficiencies by linking functions like customer records to order entry to inventory. SAP’s Business One Starter Pack is ideal for growing companies that need more than standard accounting software, are limited by spreadsheets or non-integrated business software, and want to get efficiency, visibility and control that a fully integrated business management solution delivers,” Cordi said.
Key Business Solutions recently signed on as a channel partner for the Business One Starter Pack, and SAP is also seeking new channel partners which target small business customers for the new solution.
