SAP automation tools developer, Basis Technologies, has announced record growth across all aspects of its business during the third quarter of its 2018 fiscal year, reporting high growth in customer acquisition, product adoption, geographic expansion, and alliances.
Q3 was the highest performing quarter in the company’s 20+ year history for both revenue and customer acquisition, with the addition of 10 new customers across multiple industries. The company also experienced growth across all major geographic regions, North America leading in terms of new customer acquisitions.
Strong Q3 results put year-over-year estimates at 66 per cent for annualised subscription growth.
“Our business is growing rapidly because organisations are realising the value of automating software delivery and testing across their complex SAP environments,” said Martin Metcalf, CEO, Basis Technologies. “In addition to acquiring new customers, expanding into new geographies, and growing interest from our partners, the market response to our launch of Robotic Test Automation has been extraordinary.”
Basis Technologies focuses on automation to enable continuous delivery in SAP environments and supports the adoption of agile and DevOps methodologies for SAP. In Q3 new and existing customers continued to invest in the company’s ActiveControl and Testimony products. ActiveControl’s automation features support agile development, DevOps and continuous delivery in SAP environments, while minimising risk to business continuity. Testimony uses Robotic Test Automation (RTA) to facilitate regression testing and reduce test costs in SAP.
The company cited examples of wins across diverse industries including:
- A multi-national oil and gas corporation that partnered with a major systems integrator to achieve a massive reduction in test costs using Testimony.
- A North American telecommunications company that achieved a fully integrated continuous delivery environment using ActiveControl to integrate existing DevOps assets with SAP development and delivery.
- A major US healthcare organisation that used ActiveControl to support delivery of Medicaid, Medicare, and a healthcare marketplace to more than 1.5 million members in five states.
