In a bid to drive innovation within the internal audit function, SAP has announced the general availability of the SAP Audit Management application powered by SAP HANA.
The new solution streamlines the auditing process by providing a cost-effective alternative to spreadsheets and manual tools while integrating into the SAP Fraud Management analytic application, which provides fraud fighting reports and tools to internal auditors, and the SAP Risk Management application, which allows internal audit to prioritise based on risk assessments completed by the business.
In an environment where auditors are being challenged to drive down the cost of basic assurance activities while providing business insights, SAP Audit Management is designed to meet all the assurance requirements of a modern audit department by providing mobile audit capabilities, insights from search powered by HANA, collaboration via the SAP Jam social software to track and monitor audit findings, and a user-friendly interface.
