The SAP Analytics Cloud solution has been included on Constellation Research’s ShortList for Cloud-Based Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Platforms.
By 2020, enterprises will access 60 per cent of their mission-critical information through external sources, such as software-as-a-service applications on cloud-based sources, according to Constellation.
The research firm named the solution to the 25 solution-strong list based on customer adoption and multi-cloud support options, as well as its planning, advanced augmented analytics and digital boardroom capabilities.
“I’ve been following the development of SAP Analytics Cloud for more than three years and have seen steady progress in the platform’s depth and breadth of capabilities,” said Doug Henschen, Constellation Research vice president and principal analyst.
“At SAPPHIRE NOW in 2018, SAP announced that the product is now an included component of SAP S/4HANA, the new SAP C/4HANA CRM offerings and SAP SuccessFactors solutions. This was a vote of confidence and statement of commitment to SAP Analytics Cloud, and, together with growing adoption, it convinced me that it was time to add SAP Analytics Cloud to our Constellation ShortList for Cloud-Based Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms.”
