MindTree Limited, a global IT and engineering services company based in India, plans to grow its SAP practice by over 70 per cent over the next 12 months.
Former Accenture executive Arun Rangaraju has recently been appointed as senior vice president and ERP practice to lead the new direction of the company. With over 18 years’ experience in the ERP space, including six years at SAP India, Rangaraju has set ambitious targets for the company, including doubling the company’s SAP head count.
“I am very excited at the opportunity to drive the SAP growth agenda at MindTree,” said Rangaraju on the new direction of the company. “For more than seven years, MindTree and SAP have collaborated on building solutions that enable enterprises to use SAP technology to achieve business results. Apart from doubling our headcount, we are investing in widening our services portfolio and building deep capabilities in emerging areas like HANA, Sybase Unwired Platform, SAP Test Automation and Solution Manager.”
Krishnakumar Natarajan, CEO & managing director, MindTree, said that the expansion of SAP Practice is a response to their customers’ continual “significant investment in enterprise applications”.
“We have successfully executed several cutting-edge SAP engagements for large global customers across various industries. Under the able leadership of Arun, I am confident that MindTree will deliver the depth of expertise and services that will help our customers optimize their IT spend and accelerate business growth,” he said.
