Enterprise Information Management (EIM) software provider Magnitude Software has released a solution allowing organisations to integrate ERP data from a variety of sources into SAP S/4HANA in near-real time.
Recognising that many organisations are running diverse ERP landscapes, Magnitude’s RTD Stream solution can extract, transform, rationalise, map and organise data from Oracle ERP platforms including JD Edwards E1 and World, as well as PeopleSoftware and E-Business Suite. It also structures and continuously feeds ERP data into SAP S/4HANA to create a consolidated financial view of the business, as well as automating the integration and delivery of heterogeneous ERP data.
“The ERP landscape is more fragmented than ever, and that trend will only continue,” said Mike Ormerod, vice president of product management, Magnitude Software. “With the release of RTD Stream we are giving real-time controls and insights to CFOs and finance departments so they can better optimise their businesses with a connectivity solution that leverages our deep understanding of the internal Oracle ERP and SAP HANA data structures.”
According to Magnitude, the RTD Stream software can be installed in 10 days per ERP source. Adding RapidDecision, the company’s analytics solution running on HANA, to RTD Stream enables the solution to run on 22 additional subject areas beyond general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and sales.
This integration then allows users to drill down into detailed business transactions to, for example, associate an expense transaction with the purchase order, or link inventory valuation with real-time inventory balances.
