Stefan Beekman has been appointed principal BW consultant in the Business Intelligence (BI) team at Icon Integration.
The Dutch-born Beekman has worked in IT since 1997, with BI roles ranging from team lead to architect.
He has previously worked with SAP, Woolworths, Cadbury, Rio Tinto, Aurizon, Powercor, Inpex, and most recently at the NSW Department of Education and Communities.
“We’re really excited to have Stefan join our team and to lead our BW/HANA practice,” says Paul Roddis, managing director, Icon Integration.
“We’ve taken quite some time to look for the right individual to join our team and we’ve found that pedigree in Stefan who comes very highly regarded. Stefan is the ideal person to drive our efforts into the BW/HANA space as we offer full end-to-end capability to our clients.”
Beekman has a number of certifications, across BW 3.1 through to 7.3, as well as HANA, BW on HANA, Enterprise Portal, as well as the BusinessObjects reporting toolset.
