Rhody Burton has moved on from her role as channel sales director at SAP ANZ to lead the channel business at IBM Australia and New Zealand.

As director, global business partners at IBM, Burton said she will be responsible for the “transformation and growth of IBM’s channel network, through the delivery of a clear ‘One IBM’ solution portfolio”, and report directly to ANZ managing director Kerry Purcell.

“By bringing simplicity to the channel, we are helping our partners more effectively leverage IBM’s innovation to solve their clients’ challenges across lines of business and industry,” she said.

Phil Cameron, who previously led the IBM channel business, left the company last December.

Prior to her time with SAP, Burton held roles with VMware ANZ, BusinessObjects, Crystal Decisions and Seagate Software. SAP recently announced a revamp of its global PartnerEdge program for the channel.
