SAP Australia and New Zealand has appointed Sam Henderson as channel director of global channels and global business, to drive the vendor’s partner business in ANZ.
Henderson was a wealth of channel experience with SAP. He was previously based in Singapore, holding roles as senior director, channel expansion and volume channels, SAP APJ, and as channel development director, SAP Southeast Asia.
Previously Henderson held roles with Westcon-Comstor in the Asia-Pacific region. He was also an intelligence officer in the UK Ministry of Defence.
The appointment is indicative of SAP’s increased focus on the channel, also reflected in its recently signed partnership with NEXTGEN to offer a world-first dedicated cloud channel for the SAP Cloud portfolio for Australia.
