Plaut IT Australia has expanded its reach into the Asia-Pacific Japan region through the acquisition of offshore service provider, Baseliner.
Baseliner is an SAP service partner headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a primary focus on providing SAP application management support, as well as specialising in Basis, BI, CRM, and ABAP project related services.
The company will run independently from Plaut and be led by its KL-based managing director, Charles Sigmon.
“Adding offshore capabilities to our existing portfolio of expertise enables Plaut customers to leverage competitive advantage from globally distributed talent pools and allows us to provide remote services into the South East Asian region for local and global SAP customers,” said Plaut CEO Sebastian Moore.
Plaut chairman, David Prior, said taking a controlling interest in Baseliner advances Plaut’s stated objectives of strengthening its SAP consulting services business in Australia.
“The complementary skill set of both companies will ensure Plaut delivers customers a competitive portfolio of SAP services onshore, near shore and now offshore,” he said.
