RISE with SAP Clients List Add Quipment, fischer Group

Adding to an already impressive RISE with SAP clients list, French medical equipment company Quipment and German multinational fisher Group have both signed on with the Business Transformation as a Service (BTaaS). As SAP’s milestone offering becomes more widely used, businesses of all shapes and sizes are seeing the value in switching to the cloud-based solution.

With the world increasingly digital, companies must adapt to stay competitive. Many businesses are turning to RISE with SAP software to help them manage their operations more effectively. Initially introduced in January 2021, RISE with SAP is a comprehensive suite of tools designed to streamline business processes and increase efficiency. The offering has seen considerable success and has helped many businesses improve their operations.

Organizations implementing the said solution have the ability to manage all aspects of their business from a single platform, including financials, inventory, customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management (SCM), and more. By consolidating all of these business functions into a single system, RISE with SAP aims to make it easier for companies to see where improvements can be made and help them work more efficiently overall. One such company is Quipment, a French medical equipment manufacturer, which uses the solution to automate its business processes. Automating Business Process with SAP Cloud Solution

RISE with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is the foundation upon which Quipment runs its global operations, automating accounting and financial processes like inventory management, service and setup, and more. By implementing this solution, Quipment will be able to modernize its data infrastructure in preparation for future changes in its business model, and it will get growth-oriented support as well.

Noting that the robustness of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA solution convinced the company to meet its automation objectives, Quipment President and Co-Founder Pierre Malingrey further shared:

“This will allow Quipment to achieve significant efficiency gains and allow us to maintain our lead in this market in the process of industrialization. Beyond this efficiency, the RISE S/4HANA solution will provide Quipment with very significant capacity gains to absorb the growing volumes of our market.”

The Grow by SAP teams, an accelerator program for high-growth enterprises, were able to meet all of Quipment’s requirements, providing them with tailored support to ensure optimal adoption and equipping them to keep up with the expanding market demand. With SAP and WYNSYS — one of the German tech giant’s partners — working together, Quipment will be able to reorganize its operations to make the most of the benefits offered by the cloud-based solution.

Lahcen Binoumar, Head of New Customers and Middle Market at SAP France, dubbed the collaboration with Quipment as an “exceptional opportunity” for SAP to demonstrate the capabilities and flexibility of its solutions. He added:

“The medical and laboratory products supply sector responds to a requirement intrinsic to Quipment that SAP and WYNSYS are committed to supporting. Our solution will thus enable Quipment to consolidate its leading position in its market and to continue to develop internationally while modernizing its processes.”

RISE with SAP Clients Roster Welcomes fischer Group

fischer Group is one of the latest companies to join the RISE with SAP clients roster. With 20 active companies in eight countries, fischer Group has a strong presence in the automotive industry. As part of its efforts to standardize its infrastructure around the world, the organization has adopted the private edition of the cloud solution that will provide a consistent platform for all of its locations. The medium-sized business charts a path toward unified operations and complete visibility with RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. (InsideSAP often references articles from websites in other languages to bring you as much information as possible.)

In the future years, the fischer Group plans to replace all standalone systems with SAP software, establishing a uniform system landscape from the SAP cloud around the globe. For instance, in the future, the SAP Global Trade Services, edition for the SAP HANA application will be used to manage international trade processes, electronic data will be archived through the content server with the click of a button, and reporting across the entire organization will be streamlined with the help of the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solution.

When orders come in from customers, they typically end up in Excel spreadsheets that need to be forwarded to production. According to the fischer Group, these orders should be integrated into the SAP S/4HANA production environment automatically. In addition, a new manufacturing execution system will be implemented and all existing CAD programs will be merged.

Ralf Klemisch, the fischer Group’s project manager in charge of the organization’s transformation program, stressed:

“The aim is to move from the current paper economy to almost paperless production.”

The new solution will be introduced to the market in Germany in the middle of 2023, and after that, the firms that make up the Fischer Group will gradually begin to implement the BTaaS cloud offering.
