SAP Model Company services will minimise risks and accelerate time to value by employing state-of-the-art applications and proven best practices garnered from the real life experiences of market leaders at real companies in major industries to help organisations navigate the perilous digital transformation waters.
“Companies today face an interesting dilemma. They must navigate the complexities of digital transformation without disrupting day-to-day business operations,” said Herbert Illgner, executive vice president, strategic projects, SAP digital business services, SAP.
“With the SAP Model Company services, we provide a framework to do just that. The model company approaches have been tried and proven. They’re effective in delivering faster time to value, predictable results and business transformation,” he said.
SAP Model Company services, customised to meet specific line-of-business and industry requirements, are based on the process expertise SAP has acquired through decades of project experience. SAP has initially rolled out services for 10 industries and lines of business including core retail, oil and gas, utilities, connected manufacturing, R&D, engineering and sustainability. Additional industries will be introduced later this year.
The Model Company uses the digital business framework methodology, industry reference architecture and SAP Activate innovation adoption framework.
SAP Model Company services are available as a standalone offering or as part of the SAP S/4HANA Value Assurance service packages.
