Pathlock, a Dallas, Texas-based app security and controls automation provider, and Grey Monarch, an SAP Process Automation specialist from the United Kingdom, have joined forces to better assist SAP clients with their audit, compliance, and control processes.

As a market leader in application security and controls automation, Pathlock offers businesses the ability to manage all key aspects of access governance through an unified platform and across multiple applications. These different aspects include ongoing User Access Reviews, user provisioning, control testing, duties segregation, as well as audit preparation.

Last May, Pathlock successfully completed a capital raise of $200 million, which was sponsored by Vertica Capital Partners. The company also announced a merger with Appsian and Security Weaver. In 2020, Appsian, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) security services provider, had the SAP Integration Certification of its data security and compliance platform for SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) and SAP S/4HANA.

Moreover, the acquisition of Belgium-headquartered dynamic analytics solutions provider CSI Tools and Germany-based SAP security and authorization solutions company SAST SOLUTIONS was also revealed by Pathlock this year. The tech company is now providing services to more than 1,400 clients across all key sectors on a global level, and it has offices in the United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, and India.

This month, Pathlock made the announcement that it has acquired Grey Monarch, a specialist SAP Partner located in the United Kingdom that focuses on SAP Process Automation. Aside from further expanding its SAP capabilities, Pathlock’s goal of offering the industry’s most comprehensive 360-degree technology platform security and controls automation for the SAP ecosystem is anticipated to be strengthened as a result of the acquisition.

Piyush Pandey, Chief Executive Officer at Pathlock, expressed his enthusiasm about the company’s recent acquisition of SAP Process Automation expert Grey Monarch. He also mentioned that Pathlock’s globally recognized application security and controls automation solutions continue to be in high demand. Commenting on the latest development within their organization, Pandey further said:

“We know that with Grey Monarch’s specialization in SAP process automation we can continue to enable our global customers to revolutionize the way they secure their sensitive financial and customer data.”

Grey Monarch’s SAP Process Automation Capabilities to Support Pathlock’s Expansion

In order to meet the ever-changing demands of customers, organizations must continuously innovate. However, that is sometimes made more challenging by a lack of both development skills and resources. Modifying, improving, and innovating processes is made easier with the help of the intuitive features provided by SAP Process Automation.

Furthermore, the solution is a no-code or low-code system that offers workflow monitoring, robotic process automation (RPA), native integration with business application processes, and prebuilt content. Automation of business processes can be sped up and simplified with confidence by both business users and professional developers, making it easier to adjust to new conditions.

David Lloyd, Director and Co-Founder at Grey Monarch, shared:

“It’s now more imperative than ever for organizations to utilize a holistic view of user access and privileges so they can be managed, monitored and controlled to ensure the maximum protection of data, business processes and intellectual property.”

Established in 2008, UK-based Grey Monarch has been developing its experience in SAP Background Processing Automation, Secure Managed File Transfer, SAP License Optimization, Segregation of Duties, and SAP Security. The SAP community will be able to take advantage of both Pathlock and Grey Monarch’s SAP Process Automation guidance, implementation capabilities, software and training expertise as a result of the recent acquisition. This is also anticipated to achieve increased levels of security, an improved user experience, and streamlined procedures for auditing, compliance, and control.

“Combining Grey Monarch’s capabilities with the Pathlock family of expertise, resources and product portfolio will provide our customers, existing and new, with an unsurpassed visibility into their business applications,” Lloyd remarked.
