Ventana Research has ranked SAP as the top software vendor in its 2010 Value Index for Financial Performance Management.
The 2010 Value Index for Financial Performance Management evaluates vendor software against seven categories: usability, manageability, reliability, capability, adaptability, vendor validation and total cost of ownership/return on investment.
According to Ventura, together, these categories provide an assessment of product functionality and suitability-to-task, as well as effectiveness of vendor support for the buying process and customer assurance.
SAP earned high marks due to the ability of its financial performance management solutions to help organisations efficiently manage financial processes, including analytics, budgeting, consolidation, planning, reporting and strategy.
