Twenty start-ups from the SAP Startup Focus program have signed
commercial agreements to go productive with SAP HANA One platform on
Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The program was launched six months ago and gives start-ups the
opportunity to accelerate their growth by innovating on the SAP HANA
platform.
Since the program launch, more than 800 start-ups from 17 countries have been evaluated, with 153 chosen to participate.
Feedzai is one of the 20 start-ups lucky enough to have signed an
agreement. The Portugal-based company provides a real-time application
to help financial institutions prevent fraud before it occurs.
Other start-ups chosen include US-based Fan Appz, which offers a social
media marketing solution that helps businesses acquire new customers and
grow existing relationships with personalisation, and Warwick
Analytics, which offers root cause analysis and early warning systems
for defects in complex high-value manufacturing industries.
“As an early stage university spinoff, time to market is key,” said Dan
Somers, CEO of Warwick Analytics. “It is refreshing to find a company
the size of SAP working like a start-up to help us go from concept to
product in 10 short weeks.”
