SAUG focus on Digital Transformation in the Public Sector at SAUG Canberra Conference

The SAUG Canberra Conference is one of the SAP Australian User Group’s most popular regional events and will be held this year on Thursday 7thMarch.

The event is focused on the unique SAP experiences and requirements ofthe Australian Public Sector; with the agenda featuring the latest technologies and SAP solutions including Citizen Engagement, Machine Learning, AI, Self Service Reporting, Analytics and more.

According to Mark Baker, CEO of SAUG, the Customer Keynote speaker this year will be Stephen Pearson, CIO of the Australian Department of Defence. Stephen will be sharing insights and experiences relating to the large scale digital and information transformation undertaken by the department – with the objective of ensuring Australia’s defence capability can meet the challenges of a changing defence environment. 

The agenda this year will also feature presentations from key State and Federal Government Departments and Agencies including the Attorney General’s Department, The Department of Home Affairs, Australian Taxation Office, The Department of Human Services, Transport for NSW, Department of Finance – Service Delivery Office plus more.

SAUG have also gathered numerous SAP experts and mentors to share their experience and vision on key topics such as Digital Transformation, Indirect Access Risk, Cloud, AIand how they relate to the Public Sector; at both State and Federal levels.
