US-based digital commerce solution provider Zaelab has been chosen as the SAP Hybris 2016 Newcomer of the Year.

The award recognised the company for its ability to hit the ground running, with business in the B2B and B2C digital commerce space, and manage customer implementations successfully.

Zaelab has achieved triple-digit growth rate achieved by its delivery of innovative, digital commerce solutions that are beginning to incorporate things like Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence and cognitive technology.

Evan Klein, president and CEO, Zaelab, said the partnership with SAP Hybris has enabled the company to deliver agile commerce platforms that allow customers to get to market quickly and enjoy a best-in-class user experience.

“We’re starting to see companies integrating new technologies to allow for continuous delivery that reacts to change. Our customers that are making these investments are leapfrogging their competitors; those that do not may be substantially disrupted by upstarts. I think we’ll see a large number of disruptors enter the B2B market in 2017,” Klevin said.

Nominations for the SAP Hybris Partner of the Year Awards were based on internal SAP data, with winners determined by criteria including joint sales achievement, customer case studies and consultant certifications.

Zaelab began its SAP Hybris partnership in 2012, as an Extend workbench partner and has since become an SAP Hybris Gold partner and winner of SAP’s Digital Enterprise Group Excellence Award. Klein was selected to be a member of the Executive Partner Advisory Board in early 2017 to help Hybris customers reach “new age” digital commerce solutions.
