Ahead of several big announcements at this year’s SAPPHIRE NOW, SAP announced that partners will have 12 months free access to SAP S/4HANA cloud and C/4HANA for test and demo systems.

The announcement follows a successful partner uptake of SAP’s 12 month free access to SAP Cloud Platform since December 2019. Over 850 partners have subscribed so far, with the platform boasting over 1,400 partners actively building solutions on the platform.

There are conditions to qualify for 12 months free access. Partners in the SAP PartnerEdge program should have three consultants certified in operations capabilities for SAP applications running on SAP S/4HANA Cloud or solutions on SAP C/4HANA. This includes all five of SAP C/4HANA’s cloud solutions portfolio.

Qualifed partners who have already purchased the test and demo systems can renew for 12 months at no cost. Furthermore, partners who do not qualify will have access at a severely reduced rate. The offers will commence in the third quarter of 2019, with partner registrations open until late September 2019.

SAP board member Adaire Fox-Martin, President of SAP Global Customer Operations, said:

“SAP’s partner ecosystem is central to our ability to provide businesses across the world with a road map to the Intelligent Enterprise… We continually evaluate the services we provide to our partners to ensure they are optimally equipped to deliver value to our customers. The test and demo systems on SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP C/4HANA for our trusted partners are the latest offerings in our ongoing commitment to their success.”

Fox-Martin, a member of the SAP SE executive board, expanded her role to become the sole Head of Global Operations, following the departure of Robert Enslin as Head of Cloud Business Group.
