SAP ANZ has announced that it will partner with Extend Technologies and Courtland Business Solutions to offer SAP Business All-in-One for Mining via subscription-based hosting.
According to SAP, this new delivery option will allow small and mid-size mining companies to run its Business All-in-One solutions without having to bring in dedicated IT staff to implement and manage the software.

“That could be any combination of on-premise or on-demand, on the device of their choice,” he said.
“With this announcement we are now enabling our mid-size mining customers, via our partners, to have their SAP software delivered on demand.”
Clinch said SAP was excited to be partnering with Extend and Courtland on the new offering, adding that SAP was keen to grow the ecosystem of partners able to benefit by offering a greater variety of consumption models.
Extend Technologies general manager, commercial, Andrew Powell, said Extend has enjoyed a successful relationship with SAP for several years and will continue to work closely with the company to create value for its customers.
“The new offering means we can provide our customers with more flexible solutions that can be implemented quickly and at a fixed, predictable cost,” said Powell.
Peter Lander, general manager of Courtland Business Solutions, said demand from customers to gain greater control over their IT costs is driving the trends towards subscription-based hosting.
