Accenture will partner with Telstra to open a new Accenture Innovation Centre for SAP solutions in Australia, deepening the alliance between Telstra, SAP and Accenture in the ANZ region.
Following the recent news of SAP and Telstra’s alliance with Accenture on a new series of cloud solutions, it seems the alliance between the three companies may be strengthening.
Philip Jones, executive director, data IP network application and services, Telstra, explained that the centre would further showcase the benefits of the alliance between Telstra, Accenture and SAP, which successfully “combines Accenture’s global expertise, SAP’s industry-leading solutions and Telstra’s award-winning cloud capabilities”.
The centre will provide industry-specific demonstrations of how SAP solutions, including business analytics, mobility, the SAP HANA platform and cloud computing solutions can be utilised as part of a comprehensive technology roadmap. Clients can also test solutions through a scenario-based proof-of-concept trial.
Kellie Simpson, Accenture’s SAP Australian practice lead said that the centre would offer clients the opportunity to test Australian-specific solutions first-hand.
“This initiative brings together the strength of all three organisations to deliver a differentiated service to the market,” Simpson said.
Jeremy Goddard, head of business solutions and cloud, SAP ANZ, explained that the opening of the centre places ANZ clients at the centre of the innovation process.
“Customers can create an infrastructure to perform proof-of-concept trials and explore emerging delivery models such as cloud and mobility; understand analytics through real business-oriented scenarios; and take advantage of the best offerings from SAP, Accenture and Telstra to realise value through business transformation,” Goddard said.
