After 11 years of operation in North America, Australian conference company The Eventful Group has announced that its North American assets have been acquired by the Americas’ SAP Users’ Group (ASUG).
The group operates events such as its successful Mastering SAP conferences in North America.
Greg Healy, CEO of The Eventful Group, said, “Our long and successful history with ASUG has provided an excellent platform for The Eventful Group to take the next step and ensure we are creating the greatest number of opportunities for best possible collaboration amongst the SAP network, especially as the SAP universe continues to evolve.”
For ASUG, the acquisition will broaden its reach and provide more opportunities for year-round collaboration for the SAP network.
“Our collaboration with The Eventful Group has been wildly successful, and this agreement is the next step that allows ASUG to better tailor programs and events for the SAP community as we share, interact and collaborate across the SAP ecosystem,” said Geoff Scott, CEO of ASUG.
Scott said all the current contacts at ASUG and Eventful will remain the same.
In a statement, Eventful Group chairman Chris Carroll thanked the Eventful team, saying the acquisition was the beginning of a new chapter for the business.
