Australian Pharmaceutical Industries chooses TCS for integration of SAP ERP Program

Beauty and health retail company, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API), has selected Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to deliver SAP technology in order to unify and enhance mission-critical IT systems across its retail and wholesale operations.

After a series of mergers and acquisitions and fast-paced business growth, API needed to update and replace many of its key IT systems.

Under the terms of the agreement, TCS will help API with an SAP ERP platform that integrates with API’s legacy systems, providing improvements in mission-critical business operations such as merchandising, sales and customer service, logistics and finance.

According to TCS, API will benefit from enhanced customer service capabilities, improved logistics and finance processes, and better operational efficiencies.

“We are confident that partnering with TCS will achieve our key objectives of enhanced customer capabilities and realizing the associated efficiencies to position API competitively for the future,” said Stephen Roche, CEO, API.

API is a key win for TCS, said Deborah Hadwen, CEO, TCS – Australia and New Zealand, as it expands its footprint in retail and further demonstrates the company’s leadership as an SAP partner and solution provider of choice.

“By adopting the combination of TCS services and SAP technology to enhance its IT operations, API will have a state-of-the art technology infrastructure that will deliver a competitive edge in the fast-paced retail marketplace,” she said.
