German enterprise software giant SAP has unveiled a global partnership with Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., the motorcycle-manufacturing subsidiary of Ducati, leveraging the RISE with SAP offering to accelerate digital business transformation.
To be able to respond quickly and efficiently to an increasingly challenging supply system globally, Ducati places its customers — who are enthusiastic about their products — at the core of its business. Just last week, Ducati Australia and New Zealand opened its newest flagship Ducati dealership, Ducati Melbourne West. Robert Gattereder, Chief Executive Officer at Preston Motors Group, said that the company is delighted about its latest flagship store, which will showcase the Italian brand and provide clients with a premium customer experience (CX).
Committed to setting new standards for customer satisfaction, Ducati recently teamed up with SAP in order to establish an intelligent business network with the company’s partners and suppliers. According to the press release, this will allow for further digitalization of business operations. Additionally, the two companies’ partnership is founded on the mutual goal of enhancing the experiences of dedicated Ducati clients through continuous innovation using cutting-edge technologies and services.

- SAP Commerce Cloud for online business management – The tech giant’s commerce solution is built mainly for large enterprises with advanced business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) use cases. As a customizable solution, it intends to deliver hyper-personalized omnichannel experiences through the management of complex configurations, products, and catalogs.
- SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP) for Supply Chain for digital supply chain planning – The cloud-based SAP IBP solution is powered by SAP HANA, and it integrates sales and operations planning (S&OP), demand forecasting, and response and supply, demand-driven replenishment and inventory planning.
Moreover, the partnership between SAP and Ducati extends into the realm of racing, a domain in which technology advancement and innovation have consistently been the primary drivers of excellence. The 2022 season of the FIM MotoGP World Championship will see SAP become one of the official partners of the Ducati Lenovo Team in the competition.
