SAP and SuccessFactors specialist EPI-USE has partnered with application Platform-as-a-Service (aPaaS) provider Mendix, to quickly and flexibly extend client SAP implementations with multi-channel apps.
Having found that traditional development approaches were inadequate for delivering new cloud-native, multi-channel applications as fast and flexibly as required by the business, EPI-USE was looking for another solution.
By leveraging the Mendix App Platform across its portfolio of solutions and services and the platform’s visual development capabilities, EPI-USE consultants can build these multi-channel applications as well as standalone apps that meet business needs around employee productivity, business process and workflow and customer engagement.
“There is an unbelievable amount of latent potential trapped in existing enterprise systems,” said Rowan Hinton, vice president, reporting and analytics at EPI-USE. “Mendix provides EPI-USE with a faster, easier way to extend and mobilise these systems, driving successful digital transformation and immediate business value for clients. While business moves fast, Mendix allows us to move even faster to stay ahead of demand for web and mobile apps.”
EPI-USE and Mendix are already working together on a large project for a higher education client, building enterprise applications such as an expense management application with mobile receipt capture, complex workflows and integration with SAP and other systems; a compensation analysis tool that integrates with SAP to provide visual data analysis capabilities; and a standalone vacation tracking app that eliminates spreadsheets and manual processes.
