Fujitsu has launched its SAP S/4HANA Conversion Service, providing organisations that are migrating from an existing SAP ERP system to S/4HANA with a reliable, fully supported migration from evaluation, planning, and preparation through to post-migration verification in as little as six months.
In Japan alone, Fujitsu estimates there to be about 2000 systems with SAP ERP systems as core, all of which will be seeking a smooth and reliable migration path to S/4HANA over the next several years. Beyond Japan, Fujitsu will subsequently extend its migration service in coordination with global delivery centres in eight countries.
Relying on extensive experience with SAP ERP systems and system migrations, Fujitsu’s SAP-certified consultants will ensure that all functions, including custom code functions, remain compatible throughout the migration. Test scenarios will be prioritised according to their impact on operations to maximise operational efficiencies throughout the migration.
Fujitsu can support migrations regardless of the organisation’s pre-migration platform, operating system or database management system, for both on-premise systems and cloud platforms. The company will provide recommendations for the best method to support a migration for each organisation’s individual environment.
Fujitsu supports on-premise operating environments for SAP S/4HANA as well as cloud services including Fujitsu Cloud Service K5, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and NIFCLOUD for SAP S/4HANA environments.
The new service can be combined with other Fujitsu services including its SAP S/4HANA Consulting Service, SAP S/4HANA Proof of Concept Service, LCM Service, and Operations Improvement Support Service to obtain maximum support from conceptual planning through to post-migration operational improvements.
Fujitsu has applied for certification of its SAP S/4HANA Conversion Service under SAP’s Partner Packaged Solution Qualification.
