As part of an expanded collaboration, customers running SAP will be able to address complexities and continuously innovate their operations through a combination of LeanIX EAM and SAP Signavio’s business process transformation solutions.
In November last year, LeanIX first announced that its Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) offering has been listed on the SAP Store, an online marketplace that sells products and services provided by the German software vendor and its partners. The SAP Store gives customers direct access to over 2,000 cutting-edge solutions from SAP and its partner ecosystem to help complement and extend existing SAP apps.
SAP Endorsed Apps are applications that have been certified by SAP and have undergone further assessment, as well as evaluations against the outcomes of benchmark tests. In particular, LeanIX’s EAM solution is integrated with SAP Signavio Process Manager through an interface, and it offers comprehensive data on user groups, applications, and interfaces.
Following a recent industry development, SAP expanded its partnership with Bonn-headquartered tech company LeanIX — an SAP Partner since February 2021 — in a bid to assist businesses that are implementing SAP solutions. The team-up aims to help customers in maximizing the return on their investment (ROI), streamlining their operations, and bringing about digital transformation and innovation in both their business and IT processes.
Commenting on the announcement, SAP Signavio General Manager Gero Decker said in a statement:
“LeanIX’s EAM solution will help customers adapt faster to changing enterprise architecture requirements while enjoying the benefits of process excellence available through integration with SAP Signavio solutions. The SAP Endorsed App complements our portfolio and meets the needs of customers looking to transform as they move critical applications to the cloud.”
SAP Signavio Process Manager Integrates with LeanIX EAM
Moreover, the extended collaboration also comes in the shape of intelligent technologies that are thoroughly integrated to map processes and an efficient product roadmap which will give a holistic view of enterprise architecture for customers to achieve meaningful business outcomes. It can be noted that the recently expanded partnership builds on nine years of collaboration and product integrations that took place between LeanIX and Signavio before SAP’s acquisition of the latter early last year.
Businesses that are transitioning to the intelligent enterprise resource planning (ERP) system SAP S/4HANA through the Business Transformation as a Service signature cloud offering RISE with SAP need to have a full knowledge of the interconnections that exist between SAP systems and all related applications. LeanIX EAM intends to provide this overview, which additionally enhances the SAP solution portfolio by integrating with SAP Signavio Process Manager and providing native support for the SAP Activate methodology. Additionally, LeanIX EAM aims to address the issue of process transformation from both a business and an IT standpoint.
LeanIX Chief Executive Officer André Christ believes that by partnering with SAP, the company will be able to deliver a “holistic set of benefits” to businesses globally. He further added:
“Specifically, with an integrated view of both their enterprise and business architecture, companies can gain rapid, actionable insight that streamlines transformations. I look forward to exploring new ways to deepen our integration with the SAP portfolio.”
