SAP and Qualtrics announce a new experience management (XM) solution that will support global procurement solutions from SAP. According to a press release by SAP Ariba, Qualtrics XM for Suppliers will help companies improve spend experience, strengthen security of supply, and accelerate time-to-savings with real-time supplier insights delivered by Qualtrics XM technology.
Commenting on the newest Qualtrics XM solution, Jason Wolf, senior vice president and SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network general manager said,
“This year has taught us that agility and resilience can only be achieved if you can anticipate disruption before it happens, enhance critical supplier synergies and know when to activate alternate sources of supply. That’s even easier to achieve now with Qualtrics XM for Suppliers for SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and SAP S/4HANA solutions.”
Enhancing source-to-pay experience for global procurement solutions from SAP
Qualtrics XM for Suppliers utilises data from a company’s SAP global procurement solutions—SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and SAP S/4HANA—to deliver AI-driven intelligence and insights that empower efficient identification of key areas of improvement across the source-to-pay process.
The latest addition to SAP and Qualtrics XM solutions aims to enable companies to strengthen supplier relationships and security of supply, mitigate risk, understand supplier sentiment and support achievement of sustainability targets with diverse suppliers, drive cost savings, increase supplier adoption and influence terms throughout the spend process, and identify areas to both optimize existing business processes and leverage supplier innovation.
Qualtrics XM for Suppliers leverages key features of the Qualtrics XM Platform (a system of action designed to optimize research around the customer, employee, product, and brand experiences of customers, constituents, and colleagues) to help deliver:
- Personalized supplier engagement to ensure supply chain continuity across all supplier tiers.
- Predictive intelligence and analytics to help organisations understand key drivers and opportunities better and more easily strengthen supplier partnerships.
- Automated action plans and workflows that efficiently address gaps at any stage of the supplier experience with action plans and closed-loop follow-up to drive business outcomes.
- Enterprise-grade security for business-critical data. According to SAP, Qualtrics XM for Supplier holds compliance with numerous security standards (FEDRAMP authorization, HITRUST, GDPR, HCAHPS, ISO 270001, SOC2 Type 2) and audits integrated across the entire platform and natively provided.
The supporting Qualtrics XM solution for SAP global procurement solutions features dynamic dashboards that show supplier response data, key drivers, and recommended actions—providing each buyer with the information needed to strengthen supplier experience management and drive business impact.
Brian Stucki, Qualtrics executive vice president and CustomerXM general manager explains,
“When organizations prioritize listening, understanding and acting on stakeholder feedback, the business impact and ROI will naturally follow. Qualtrics XM for Suppliers puts supplier feedback at the heart of buyer-supplier interactions and becomes an integral part of decision-making and relationship building. Procurement teams get a holistic view of the entire process through the lens of their suppliers to quickly close feedback loops, attain prescriptive recommendations on areas of improvement, and advance spend innovation.”
