Most recently, the long-standing SAP partner has further reinforced its SAP capabilities with the acquisition of IT services and solutions provider Business Services and Technologies OOD (BST) and the launch of a new Authorization Rollout Bot, a cloud-based software robot that automates role assignment in SAP systems.
NTT Data Business Solutions Europe Expansion
In an effort to deepen its Global Managed Services capabilities for SAP, NTT Data Business Solutions has acquired SAP Gold Partner Business Services and Technologies from Sofia, Bulgaria. BST is a trusted SAP business consulting and SAP implementation partner with key competencies in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BI, SAP C/4 HANA, SAP ARIBA, SAP HYBRIS, and SAP SuccessFactors.
Having been a long-term external partner of NTT DATA, BST’s acquisition strengthens NTT Data’s market presence in Europe and adds to the company’s six global Managed Service Centers. Norbert Rotter, CEO of NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, stated that the acquisition expands the company’s shoring offerings in the European Union, supporting the customers’ increasing demand for Europe-based shoring centers and delivery on site.

New Authorization Rollout Bot
Reflecting NTT DATA Business Solutions’ focus on enhancing SAP solutions, the global IT innovator has introduced the Authorization Rollout Bot to help administrators and security officers automate easily and securely set up rule-compliant user access. Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), the robot automates role assignment in SAP systems based on templates and best practices. The solution eliminates errors and delays in business routines that normally occur with the conventional, manual creation of an authorization matrix for SAP implementation projects.
Klaus-Christoph Müller, Director of Business Development at NTT DATA Business Solutions, explained that the Authorization Rollout Bot is an example of how AI is used in automating manual tasks. The solution is based on SAP Process Automation–a solution that merges SAP Workflow Management and SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation– and leverages intelligent software components for SAP S/4HANA business process automation.
The Authorization Rollout Bot is available on SAP Store for SAP customers including those running SAP Process Automation.
