WorkForce Software is an SAP Solution Extension partner and the only vendor in the Human Capital Management (HCM) space that specialises in cloud workforce management solutions.
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the demand for digital technology solutions, giving software and service providers a great deal of opportunity to help organisations tackle unprecedented challenges. In the HR department, HR leaders are expected to strike a balance between crisis management and business continuity. Major HR challenges include managing flexible work arrangements, employee communications, pay freezes, hiring, and increasing COVID-19 awareness.
A year like none other, 2020 has been a remarkable turnaround for some organisations despite the disruption the global pandemic has created across all industries worldwide. WorkForce Software, a leading cloud-based workforce management solutions vendor, is one of those that thrived and showed resiliency during the pandemic achieving 135 percent year-on-year growth in software subscription bookings and outstanding growth in the A/NZ region.
Embracing Growth in A/NZ
WorkForce Software has witnessed a dramatic rise in the demand for cloud-based HR systems that led to the increased uptake of the firm’s banner product WorkForce Suite, especially in the Australia and New Zealand region. WorkForce Suite is a cloud workforce management solution that adapts to an organisation’s specific workforce management requirements across pay rules, labour regulations, rosters, and employee self-service needs. The solution empowers organisations to remain competitive without investing further in a new IT infrastructure.
WorkForce Software is also known as a vendor for best-in-class solutions for time and attendance, leave management, labor forecasting, and optimised scheduling, compliance, employee self-service, and for its responsive design works on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
Sharing about the software vendor’s strategy to keep the momentum of increasing demand and marked growth in software subscription bookings, WorkForce Software Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) Senior Vice President Nick Bailey said:
“We’re recruiting and on-boarding new partners across multiple industry segments and even though there’s high demand in A/NZ, there’s equal demand stemming from South East Asia and Japan.
We want to invest in partners that have great net promoter scores with deep customer relationships that are known for delivering value.”
WorkForce Software Pivoting to a Partner-First Business
Bailey joined WorkForce Software in 2019 with the outlook of pivoting the company towards a partner-first business from a direct sales business. He explained that the strategic move to explore the channel business was to enable WorkForce Software to keep pace with the fast-growing demand for workforce management solutions. By partnering with value-added resellers, the company can expand its market footprint more rapidly across private and public sectors as well as market segments like manufacturing, retail, and engineering services.
“We grew in a downturn and made a good call in moving our business model from direct to partner, now we need to double down. We’re globally building a strong partner delivery model,” he stressed.
WorkForce Software has key technology partnerships with software giants SAP and Oracle. Bailey said that the company has been in close collaboration with SAP in building WorkForce Software’s brand through an open model with service providers. Currently, the company offers standard integrations with SAP’s Human Experience Management (HXM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions.
Highlighting the importance of partnering with technology innovators like SAP in tackling various HR requirements, Bailey said:
“In A/NZ, it’s a very complex HR environment to work in and we can solve that with our software, and present a powerful return on investment, which can be a key catalyst in helping companies be more cloud and digital.”
“For example, when faced with Australia and New Zealand’s new COVID-related regulations, our customers were able to rapidly adapt to support pandemic leave, shift workers, government-mandated health and location checks, and to support JobSeeker and JobKeeper payments,” he detailed.
In December 2020, WorkForce Software has announced its strategic partnership with AspireHR, an SAP Gold Partner and one of the first Human Experience Management (HXM) specialty firms to receive the SAP Intelligent Enterprise Certification, to bring feature-rich HR capabilities to more businesses. AspireHR joins the list of WorkForce Software’s global partners such as Accenture, DXC Technology, EY, Cerner, Adessa, Ascender, and Infosys.
