NSW-based Liftango is one of the tech startups selected to join the latest SAP.iO accelerator program in France centred on developing sustainable solutions for the service industries.
SAP.iO Foundry Paris debuted the 7th edition of its accelerator programme featuring eight international startups that offer next-generation solutions for sustainability. The latest cohort will be developing solutions that would support and advance sustainable development in the service industries with a focus on four key areas: Responsible Design and Production; Responsible Sourcing; Resource Recovery and Re-use, and Responsible Consumption.
SAP.iO Foundry Paris Director Sébastien Gibier stated:
“SAP.iO has always been a great incubator for startups. This year, the focus on sustainability will allow scale-ups to amplify their impact. SAP France is delighted to continue this program focused on innovation. We are particularly pleased to have met our objectives set with the government.”
The cohort selected by a jury of SAP specialists, investors, as well as partners, and customers join the roster of over 50 startups that have already participated in the SAP.iO France program. SAP has been supporting innovations and the startup community in the country and has remarkably reached the company goal set at the #ChooseFrance summit in 2018 in three years.
In 2019, the SAP.iO Foundry Paris’ third cohort also focused on GreenTech and sustainable enterprise promotion with participating startups that share the common goal of helping customers reduce their carbon footprint and take part in the circular economy.
Liftango Takes Part in the International Cohort
For 12 weeks, the Paris cohort will have the opportunity to learn from SAP experts through curated mentorship, have access to SAP technology and application programming interfaces (APIs) as well as collaborate with SAP customers.
