SAP cloud partners Accenture NZ and Pricefx’s 2021 year-end revenues significantly exceeded 2020’s numbers, attributed to remarkable SAP business.

The recently released 2021 preliminary financial results of SAP reflect the expanding cloud adoption of customers worldwide, with a 4{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} increase in cloud and software revenue versus last year and 46{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} SAP S/4HANA cloud revenue to €1.09 billion, which exceeded its €1 billion cloud revenue target. Correspondingly, SAP business partners Accenture in New Zealand and Pricefx, a leading SaaS pricing software provider, have also achieved stellar financial performances in 2021.

Accenture NZ’s Revenue Comeback

11 months after the acquisition of New Zealand-based SAP and cloud solutions technology specialist Zag, Accenture NZ has recorded a $120.8 million revenue during the year ended 31 August 2021, nearly doubling its $66.1 million revenue in 2020. Zag’s A$45 million buyout was charted to boost Accenture’s Australia and New Zealand capabilities to support organisations migrating to the cloud and SAP’s next-generation products. Further to the acquisition, the global consulting firm banks on the Kiwi firm’s ability to deliver end-to-end digital and business transformation for its A/NZ customers having a team of over 200 professionals, including SAP specialists, across its Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, and Melbourne offices.

Accenture NZ also reported a dramatic increase in employee spending from $14.5 million to $53.2 million. The subcontractor costs have also increased from $3.6 million to $10.3 million as well as the price of acquired consultant services from $24.4 million to $31.7 million.

Zag, as part of Accenture, in partnership with Chorus won the Industry Disruptor category in the 2021 SAP Best Run Awards for ANZ for accelerating the digital transformation of New Zealand’s largest telecommunications provider leveraging SAP Disputes Management and Collections ERP modules to achieve a single point for collections and case management activities and streamline processes across multiple systems. In the same SAP awarding event, Accenture in partnership with Coles also emerged as the winner of the Network & Spend Management category for integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA, essentially digitising key procurement processes including vendor registration, sourcing, and invoicing, among others.

Accenture has been a long-time partner of SAP helping organisations worldwide become intelligent enterprises by harnessing the power of cloud technology. In 2020, the consultancy launched myNav platform, an SAP-based offering that combines SAP’s intelligent technologies with extensive experience and partnerships with hyperscalers. The solution designed to streamline organisations’ cloud transformations is known to lower up to 25{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} of SAP on cloud migration cost according to Accenture.

Pricefx Stellar Q4 and Full-Year Performance

SAP Gold Partner Pricefx recently announced a remarkable fourth-quarter performance in 2021, dubbed as the best quarter in the company’s history with 26 deals closed. In addition, the company achieved a 45{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} year-over-year annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth last year– attributed to the addition of 34 new enterprise customers– and recorded 95{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} customer retention on top of closing 23 customer expansion deals.

Headquartered in Germany with offices across the globe, spanning Australia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the US, Pricefx reported a 140{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} revenue growth with SAP in 2021 versus 2020. Driving the significant performance is the Advantage Pricefx partner program, which recorded at least one partner engaged on a majority (70{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd}) of new customers signed through co-selling or implementing the Pricefx solution. The KPMG German member firm and a couple more global system integrators joining Pricefx’s ecosystem have contributed to the firm’s expanding market footprint and deepening expertise in pricing for B2B and B2C enterprises across all sectors.

Pricefx has been a consistent finalist in the 2021 and 2020 SAP Pinnacle Awards for Partner of the Year-Endorsed Apps and SAP App Center Partner of the Year, respectively.
