SAP technologies — particularly SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA Cloud — recently received recognitions from TrustRadius and IDC MarketScape, respectively.
The German enterprise software giant has proven instrumental in the transformation of numerous businesses across a wide range of industries into sustainable and intelligent enterprises. Two of the leading research firms in the world have recently acknowledged the efforts that SAP has made to provide organisations with mission-critical solutions.
TrustRadius, a review platform for business-to-business (B2B) customer voice, insights, and feedback, gave SAP SuccessFactors eight Top Rated Awards. On the other hand, IDC MarketScape, one of the tech industry’s premier vendor assessment tools, named SAP a Leader for Cloud-Enabled Operational Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Cloud-Enabled Manufacturing ERP.
Acknowledging SAP SuccessFactors Solutions
Megan Headley, Vice President of Research at TrustRadius, explained that the Top Rated Awards were given to SAP SuccessFactors because of the positive comments and ratings left by satisfied customers. She added that reviewers emphasise how the combination of performance management, succession planning, and compliance capabilities makes it easier to complete duties related to human resource management and workforce management.
SAP SuccessFactors bagged Top Rated Awards in the following software categories in TrustRadius’ peer research and review platform:
- Applicant Tracking Systems

In recent years, SAP has delivered a reinvented web page experience and made new features for SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics, SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking, and SAP SuccessFactors Compensation. Last October 2021, the company launched SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace which is backed by the center of capabilities — a unified system embedded throughout the human experience management (HXM) package.
Commenting on the latest recognition, Maryann Abbajay, Chief Revenue Officer at SAP SuccessFactors, said in the article:
“At SAP, strong customer partnerships and feedback drive our ability to continually innovate and invest in bringing our vision of HXM to life. Together, we are delivering human-centered experiences at work to help our customers build sustainable workforces and profitable businesses.
Recognising SAP Cloud Technologies
Moreover, last week also saw IDC placing SAP in the Leaders position in its 2022 MarketScape for worldwide Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud-enabled manufacturing ERP applications after evaluating its strategies and capabilities. The German tech giant implements its intelligent ERP system as SAP S/4HANA for on-premises customers and as SAP S/4HANA Cloud for customers who prefer to host their systems on the cloud.
According to SAP Chief Marketing and Solutions Officer Eric van Rossum, the IDC MarketScape report took into consideration a variety of characteristics that are significant to businesses who manufacture products and view technology as both a differentiator in the marketplace and a driver of innovation.
“Manufacturers are benefiting from the incorporation of innovative digital technologies into their ERP solutions. This requires the greater speed, agility, and flexibility that Cloud ERP applications provide, particularly those bolstered by new capabilities through IoT, big data and analytics, mobility, and augmented/virtual reality,” he added.
In 2020, SAP was also named the Leader in SaaS and Cloud-enabled Finance Applications in an IDC MarketScape report that evaluated six worldwide vendors in the enterprise accounting and financial applications space. The analysis stated the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Finance solution —a part of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud offering — helps businesses build a common view of all financial data, deliver flexible reporting, automate operations, and offer real-time analytics through advanced technologies.
