Qualtrics Employee Experience Management solutions, including the newest Experience Design for Hybrid Work and Workplaces solution, support organisations’ initiatives in enhancing the employee experience framework post-pandemic. Qualtrics Employee XM solutions allow organisations to deep dive into the employees’ pulse, preferences, motivations, and experiences that impact their productivity, sense of purpose, and contribution to the company.

COVID-19 brought forth the era of the hybrid workplace, a new hybrid model of work that combines office-based and remote working to ensure that the workforce and the company arrive at a common goal of succeeding in the new world of work without compromising health and safety. Befitting the seemingly unending and ever-changing lockdown restrictions that continue to impact the economy, the working lives, and overall well-being of many, the concept of a hybrid workplace has been embraced by many organisations including SAP.

SAP’s Pledge to Flex

In June, SAP pledged to a 100{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} flexible and trust-based global framework designed to support employee’s productivity, creativity, and inspiration while running the business responsibly and meeting business requirements. This backs the company’s recent surveys showing that over 80{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} of SAP employees want a mix of working from home or remote with some time in the office.

Aside from providing an inclusive environment that gives people the freedom to choose where to work in driving customer success, SAP’s new flexible and trust-based framework also aims to achieve inspiring office designs tailored for creativity, collaboration, community , and focused work. The software enterprise also looks into office buildings that prioritise sustainability and health through this initiative.

Powering SAP’s global ‘pledge to flex’ initiative that supports today’s hybrid working environment are SAP SuccessFactors, which provides end-to-end human experience management (HXM) solutions, and Qualtrics, which offers solutions that drive employee engagement during these disruptive times.

Enhancing Employee Experience Framework

SAP’s pledge to flex strategy echoes the results of a recent global survey released by Statista involving around 31,000 respondents across 31 markets, which revealed that 73{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} of employees want flexible remote work options to stay post-pandemic. Employee expectations continue to change, which makes it more challenging for organisations to attract and retain talents. For instance, the recent survey conducted by Qualtrics showed that 62{8bf2b29f36318f0ac46ab1cc03d7035abce669a1cea16c9ed62389a818fa22fd} of employees would support fewer office locations in exchange for better facilities and amenities including more natural light in their workspace, access to fitness equipment, and outdoor spaces, in more centralised locations.

Recognising the need to enhance employee experience framework all-encompassing hybrid workplace and ensuring talent recognition and retention, Qualtrics, the world’s leading Experience Management (XM) provider, has launched Experience Design for Hybrid Work and Workplaces. Built on Qualtrics EmployeeXM™, the new solution empowers companies to make data-driven decisions about the workplace based on employee feedback to enhance productivity, innovation, and growth in the new world of work.

Qualtrics’ Experience Design for Hybrid Work and Workplaces allows organisations to better understand employees’ thoughts and feelings on work preferences in terms of location, physical office design, and changes that need to be made to increase connection, well-being, and trust.

Julia Anas, Chief People Officer at Qualtrics, said:

“Over the past 18 months, we saw kitchens become conference rooms, bedrooms turned into classrooms, and leading teams via video became the new normal. The truth is, the way people want to work is evolving and businesses need to evolve with it.”

“With Qualtrics, leaders have an opportunity to understand what their employees’ need and then work with them to co-create workplaces that foster high performance,” she added.

Experience Design for Hybrid Work gives companies’ employee experience data and guided action plans through pre-built question sets and real-time dashboards. Moreover, the new solution enables:

  • Employees to communicate their ideal work location to leadership and provide valuable input on how their experience over the past year has enabled and/or detracted from their productivity
  • People managers gain access to a subset of questions to gauge the perception of their team’s remote productivity to identify alignment or inconsistencies
  • Organisations to understand employee preferences about how the office is redesigned and optimised, which includes the need for individual workspaces, collaborative workspaces, and health and safety considerations
